Extra! Extra! Taptica is Expanding in China

Since the grand opening of Taptica’s Beijing office back in 2015, our business operations in China have been on the up and up in a big way. To continue accelerating and supporting this rapid growth, we are very excited to announce the establishment of Taptica China, our new wholly-owned subsidiary in China.
This local entity, Taptica Information Technology Co., Ltd., will enable us to work with local clients and media suppliers that are otherwise unable to engage with overseas companies or accept payment in foreign currency. This is an exciting opportunity for Taptica to expand our addressable market in this burgeoning new region.
In anticipation of continued market growth for years to come, we’ll also be unveiling a brand-new office in Guangzhou in 2019. This new location will complement our existing office in Beijing, and allow us to extend our services deeper into southern China and beyond.
We have seen our operations in China go from strength to strength, which will be supported and accelerated by the establishment of a local entity and a new office in an additional city,” said our Interim CEO, Rivi Bloch. “With Taptica China, we have opened up a whole new market opportunity in a key growth region. Our business development and client servicing activities will also be enhanced with a new office in a new region.”
Last, but certainly not least, we’re also thrilled to welcome Toni Wei (Wei Dongyun) as our new General Manager based in Beijing. “This is a very exciting time for us and we are delighted to welcome Toni Wei to Taptica, whose experience will be beneficial as continue to drive growth in China,” said Rivi. Toni brings an impressive 20 years of experience in the ICT, marketing, brand management, and mobile industries, including roles with China Unicom, Huawei, and InMobi.
